Instructions for Use
- Connect one end of the probe wire to the electromagnetic yoke, and the other end to a 110V outlet (or to a DC or AC magnetization power source). Ensure all connections are secure.
- Make sure both magnetic poles of the yoke are in firm contact with the workpiece. Spray the area with a magnetic suspension solution either alcohol-based, black oil-based, water-based, or fluorescent (a UV light is required for fluorescent suspension). Press the switch on the yoke to begin magnetization. Release the switch to stop.
- After completing the inspection, disconnect the yoke from the power source.
- For extended use, follow this operating cycle: magnetization should last no longer than 3 seconds, followed by a rest period of at least 5 seconds.
- Ensure the magnetic poles are in full contact with the surface before activating the switch for effective magnetization.
- Always release the switch before removing the yoke from the surface. Avoid operating the device without contact between the magnetic poles and the workpiece to prevent overheating and potential damage.
