Overview

The QualiFlame™-VFTSC is a piece of equipment made to check how well a single electrical wire or optical fiber cable can keep from catching fire. It is put together to follow the IEC 60332 standard for checking vertical flame propagation, giving you a dependable way to see if your products meet important safety rules.

This machine applies a specific 1 kW flame to the sample and lets you see exactly how the material behaves.

• A Tough, Long-Lasting Build: The main housing is put together with stainless steel and has a special coating on the inside to keep it from getting damaged by the testing process, so it will last a long time.

• Exact Flame Management: Comes with a 1 kW burner that mixes air and gas, along with flowmeters for both, giving you very specific command over the flame's intensity for consistent test conditions.

• Simple Push-Button Start: An electric spark system gets the flame going, which is a lot safer and easier than using a handheld lighter.

• Automated Test Timing: A timer that does the work for you has four preset times (60, 120, 240, and 480 seconds), which makes changing between different test requirements very quick.

• Ready for Calibration: Includes all the necessary tools for checking the flame to make sure it lines up perfectly with the IEC 60695-11-2 standard.
